Frequently Asked Questions
Nope! You may refer as many companies as you’d like. We’d love to meet them.
To make a successful referral, you must introduce F8 to a decision-maker via email. Decision-makers include anyone with a managerial, C-suite, leadership or board member title. You can refer a company you work at, as long as you're not a decision-maker and can prove you needed to get buy-in. Referrals must be for new business.
New business refers to companies that are new F8 customers. Companies that were previously F8 customers and have rejoined are not eligible for the referral program.
Once your referral signs up with F8 for a managed services agreement of one-year or longer, you are eligible for the referral fee. You'll be paid via ACH through our third-party accounts payable system. You'll receive an invitation to join this system during the account creation process, and you'll be asked to provide your ACH information and TIN information to process payment. For payments above $600, F8 is required to issue you an IRS Form MISC-1099, which will be sent to your contact email when it has been filed.
Referral bonuses are issued 30 days after the referred company has made its first month’s payment. You should get a notification to provide ACH and TIN information to receive your referral bonus.
Your referral submission can be denied if your referral decided not to join F8, was already or previously a F8 client, or was already referred by someone else. Only one referral is allowed per company, so the referral will be credited to the person whose deal progresses first.
